My Background

What we have been through lives within our bodies. Our nervous system tells the stories that our words cannot. This is where deeper healing unfolds. I use a somatic approach (body focused) combined with parts work, expressive arts, play therapy, sandtray, mindfulness, and nature to facilitate the communication between mind, body, and spirit. For those more spiritually and metaphysically inclined I incorporate Reiki (energy work), sound healing, oracle cards, and ritual.

I have a bachelors in psychology from Beloit College and a masters in clinical mental health counseling from Governors State University. I have specialized training and experience in domestic violence, sexual assault recovery, complex trauma, sandtray, somatic sexuality healing, self harm, LGBTQ+ communities (particularly gender expansive folx), and Usui Reiki. I work with adults, adolescents, and children 4+.
