Somatic Therapy
In Somatic Experiencing, somatic (or in the body) is the art and science behind slowing down and being curious about the story in our nervous system. Trauma memories can show up anywhere in the body, even if the mind isn't aware. Somatic Therapy is designed to quiet the mind and open communication into the language of our bodies.

Mindfulness
By slowing down our thoughts, we can access the sensations, movements or images that show up when the body is ready to be heard.
Sensations
By opening access to our five senses, we can become more fully aware of the present moment. By slowing down and acknowledging the feelings and sensations that are being felt, we can recognize what we need in that moment.
